With extensive clinical experience across New York City’s premier healthcare institutions, Hagar have developed expertise treating diverse clients with complex mental health conditions. Hagar’s professional journey includes roles at Bellevue Hospital’s Chemical Dependency Outpatient Clinic, Maimonides Medical Center’s outpatient psychiatric department, and IVDU School supporting young adults with special needs. Most recently at A Good Place Therapy, she provided both individual and group interventions in English and Hebrew for adults experiencing trauma, loss, depression, and anxiety.

Hagar’s academic foundation includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hunter College, a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from NYU’s Silver School of Social Work, and specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Based Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Hagar is licensed to practice clinical work by the New York State department of education.

While we don't currently accept in-network insurance, we provide superbills for reimbursement to clients with out-of-network benefits. Your insurance provider may cover a portion of therapy costs depending on your plan.
